Over the past couple of weeks, I have been travelling around the Fifth District visiting schools, small businesses, local organizations and meeting with constituents in the Boone and Clemmons offices. It was wonderful to hear from many North Carolinians, and I wanted to share with you these snap shots from District Work Period.

Today is National Pretzel Day! Stop by a local shop for a treat to celebrate—I had a delicious sea salt pretzel at Patriot Pretzel Co. in Kernersville earlier this week and met with the Nestorick’s!

Popped into the Prescott next door and met Bob and Trey Prescott along with Daniel Dyson.

Next week, the House will debate legislation to mandate our government’s participation in the Paris Agreement. I have filed an amendment to limit the agreement’s impact on American sovereignty. Additionally, I look forward to defending policies that rely on innovation, conservation and adaptation to address climate change as opposed to the disastrous, radical Green New Deal. Have a great weekend.

Sincerely,
